The JUSTAT concept was recently finalized and will be proposed for discussion and approval at the next meeting of the Judicial Statistics Publication Working Group, to be held online on September 29, 2021. The document has been prepared following consultations with national stakeholders and on the basis of the methodology of the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) and its recommendations included in the Manual on court dashboards.
JUSTAT is designed as a national internet tool to publish data on the judicial system of the Republic of Moldova, such as statistics, key indicators and other information useful for assessing the performance of the judicial system. The implementation of this tool will help national authorities to further improve transparency, efficiency and facilitate understanding of the functioning of justice by professionals and the general public.
This activity is organized within the framework of the EU / CoE project “Support for strengthening the efficiency and quality of the judicial system in the Republic of Moldova”, funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe in its Partnership for Good Governance II.
